This spectacular very early 240Z HS30 is No 306 from the first batch of 500 right-hand-drive cars. The car was sold new in Western Australia. It has undergone a 9-year total restoration and today would be the best example of 240Z in the state. It is a correct, matching numbers car, still retaining its original head, differential, gearbox, paint and trim colours. The car has undergone a precise and painstaking restoration, with parts sourced from around the globe, to ensure correctness. Restored 1974 DSpecial, saved from a life in a carport 2 years ago, has had the body work done, all the hydraulics have been attended to including all rubber boots, ram seals and new spheres, reconditioned hydraulic pump and hoses as needed. Recored radiator and heater radiator and heater control. The previous owner had the upholstery redone in a high quaity black vinyl, all carpets have been replaced including the step in vinyl. It has a fresh 2.1 litre engine, the head has been overhauled with new inlet valves, inlet rocker shaft and new guides to accept modern valve stem seals. A new clutch and this is a 4 speed gearbox, new tyres all round and a fresh coat of paint inside and out. Still reqires some interior items like pillar light covers and door pockets. Much has been spent to bring it back to a good overall car that drives well for its age and condition; it is not totally an original car as other owners have put their stamp on it over the years. Has had much more done to it as I have receipts for many items not listed in this description. Very desirable Australian microcar... A barn find example of the funky, rare and desirable Aussie-built Dart microcar.  1977 Porsche 911 2.7 Coupe

Imported to Western Australia over 30 years ago from the US. Osborne Park specialists The Body Shop carried out the conversion to RHD using all Porsche genuine parts. At the same time, the car was stripped down and completely repainted. The car remained with the same WA owner right through until the present owner bought it approximately 5 years ago. Electric windows and a factory steel sunroof are fitted. New Pirelli tyres have recently been fitted to the factory Fuchs alloy wheels. Black leather interior in good condition. Some sections of paint will require re-doing at some point, when looking closely some sink- back is visible on the engine lid and left rear guard. Some of the black external trim is faded. The car retains an excellent shine and presents well, as you can see in the photos. Panels and fittings all straight and correct. The car has been maintained by Porsche specialists K-Tec. It currently shows 390,000km. It runs and drives extremely well exhibiting no bad habits.  1977 BMW 3.0L Saloon   SOLD

An outstanding example of a rare model of BMW E3, a long wheelbase 3.0L, of which only 2529 were manufactured, and just 500 were right-hand-drive. It is an Australian compliance car. The present owner bought it 30 years ago, from BMW dealership Auto Bavaria when the car was a decade old. He has pampered the car ever since, being an extra car, not in everyday use for most of that time. This is an extremely well presented example throughout. The paint gleams and there are no dents or scratches. All the external brightwork is extremely good. Grille, badges, lights, etc are all excellent. The car is on its original set of BMW alloy wheels, which have been refinished to a very high standard and look very smart. It is very original inside, with the beige leather, carpet, woodwork, and all hardware remaining in excellent condition. Underneath, in the engine bay and the boot are all to a high standard. The owner has changed the automatic transmission to a later model BMW 5-speed Getrag gearbox. He has also fitted a high quality Rockford Fosgate sound system in the car at a cost of $5000. This is the original small BMW with a big engine. With a 2.3-litre, fuel-injected, 6-cylinder engine in the small, light 3-series body, the 323i quickly became a sought after sporting model. The current owner bought this car from a long-term owner who had maintained the car meticulously. It has remained well maintained since purchase over 5 years ago. It has the 5-speed gearbox. This car has had just two owners from new. First owned by a family in the Swan Valley who kept it until the original owners had passed away. Their children sold the car to the present owner 15 years ago. When he bought it, the FB was in exceptionally original condition throughout. It required painting and instead of its original light grey colour with pink flash, it was repainted in a striking yellow and silver colour combination. The chrome, lights and other external trim were excellent and the interior remained so good that the original 57-year-old upholstery remains in the car today. A set of American Racing light alloy wheels have been fitted, though the original steel wheels and hubcaps are available with the car. Brakes, shock-absorbers and clutch slave cylinder were all replaced. In 2017 the engine was rebuilt. The generator was rebuilt, new extractors and exhaust system were also fitted at that time. The all-up cost of this recent work was $10,000. This has always been a cherished car, neither owner taking it out in wet weather. With subtle customising, the car presents very well. Lovely, low mileage, original 635 CSi. A WA-delivered car, having done just 82,000km, with one previous owner. The current owner bought the car 15 years ago from the original owner. There is a documentation file with the car with service history, plus the original handbooks are with the car. It features all that the top of the line BMW of the era could include, with electric sunroof, power Recaro seats, leather trim, automatic transmission, power windows, power steering, alloy wheels, etc. An optional BMW Motorsport leather steering wheel is fitted. Significantly, the car is very original, still wearing its original paint. It has never been accident damaged. The present owner is a BMW enthusiast, with five in his collection at present. He has used the 635 as a ‘Sundays only’ car and has put only 12,000km on the car in his 15 years of ownership. It has been exhibited at the Celebration of the Motorcar show, by invitation. A  very attractive car in a good colour scheme of bright Zinnobar Red with buffalo hide leather – the bright red colour does not show up properly in most of the photos. These 3.5-litre models have a very smooth engine giving 218bhp and provide good performance, matched to very well balanced handling.  1973 BMW 2002 Touring   SOLD

Very rare hatchback version if the 2002 that was never sold in Australia. Built between 1971 and 1974 only, the Touring was only offered in Europe and England. 14,980 were built (out of over 700,000 of the 02 series cars). It is widely regarded as one of the key predecessors of the hot hatch. This factory RHD car was imported from the UK in 1988 by a well-known enthusiast. The current owner bought the car 15 years ago. Documentation with the car includes the original UK service book and service history through various owners to current. In the file is a Concessional License inspection sheet from 2013 which the car passed with a tick in every box. Areas of criticism:  A concern with any English import is rust. The owner advises that the car has no significant rust, and there are sections of the underbody which have been plated. Only a couple of very small areas of rust are visible on the exterior. The paintwork in several sections is in need of attention, with some flaking and poor touch-ups. As you can see from the photos, the car is not unsightly, but a buyer is likely to want to rectify the paint issues. A couple of the pieces of aluminium external trim have small dents. Hardware such as the bumpers, grilles, badges, etc are good. The rear hatch struts need re-gassing. The owner says everything works and the car has been very reliable and properly maintained. The interior of the car would benefit from tidying up also. Nothing appears to be missing or broken. The front seats have been replaced with Recaro-style sports seats, however the original seats are to be supplied with the car. The owner advises there was no change made to the seat runners. The split folding rear seat was a novelty in the early ‘70s. The car starts easily and drives well. It shows 25,000 miles on the odometer, presumably 125,000. This is a very rare version of an increasingly desirable and valuable model. It is believed there would be less than half a dozen 2002 Tourings in Australia. Only five are currently registered in the UK. Overseas a Touring has long been more valuable than a sedan and values are strong, particularly in continental Europe. This car is a superior example, in a desirable colour scheme. Values of these last of the R107s have been steadily increasing in the past couple of years. Most were sold in the USA and only Australia and Japan got right-hand-drive 560SLs. Beautifully built, powerful and well equipped. Peak of the R107s. This car has known history, with lots of documentation. It was delivered new in Perth by Diesel Motors. Three previous owners, current owner has had it for six years. I was living in South Australia at that time. This beautifully restored car was delivered new in Victoria, with bodywork by Melbourne Motor Body Company Pty Ltd. A car such as this Fiat would have been very special in 1925. The flowing, sleek shape of the mudguards, especially the back wings, was very sporty. Equally, the angled door opening, V-windscreen (with no header rail) and wire wheels added to the overtly sporting nature of the car. The rear boat-tail shaped section of the bodywork was constructed with a wooden frame, over which a vinyl-like fabric was stretched. This was a popular method of making lightweight bodywork. It retains its correct body, not a replica body. The car was purchased by an enthusiast in Victoria in 1962. He restored the car and brought the car to WA when he moved in 1973, however he did not use it and the car remained effectively hidden. After 38 years of ownership he sold the Fiat. The present owner has had the car 16 years, in which time it has been completely restored, with over $45,000 being spent of renewing every aspect of the car. Was restored some years ago by a Perth European specialist, Swiss Auto in Osborne Park, engine, gearbox, diff and drive-line was rebuilt and it has high comp pistons. It now needs some minor body attention clear coat on paint and two spots of rust on rear wheel arch and passenger outer sill, it has some NOS parts to complete, badges, outer sill and rubbers. New rear brake cylinders, new tail shaft centre bearing, re-balance shaft, gearbox rubber coupling and a new gearbox mount, new spark plugs, leads, rotor button, condenser, ignition coil, points, distributor cap. I have fitted a Nostalgic AC System, this consists of Evaporator / Heater core, for four vents and defrost, that utilises the original air movement switches, extra holes cut by utilising a new blanking panel for where the old heater box pass through the fire wall, Sanden 508 Compressor, later M10 triple front pulley, dryer / pressure switch, front mounted condenser with a 10” thermo-fan that also activates with a variable temperature sensor in the radiator. None of the wiring has been cut or tampered with and runs separately to the original system. HID Bi Xenon Headlamps in original H4 Hella lamps, also no wiring cut and runs separately. DVD/Sat NAV/ Bluetooth Audio/phone touch screen sound system, for convenience more than anything, with 6 Alpine speakers by previous owner and again run separate to original wiring and has no obtrusive cut outs, in a custom mimic of the original console. All the original heater / console etc is included. I also have a new passenger outer still that I was going to fit for the small rust hole present. Sometimes described as an Italian Ford Escort RS1800, the FIAT 131 Abarth was purpose designed with help from Abarth and Bertone to contest the European Rally Championship through the late 70’s and early 80’s, successfully taking the title on 3 occasions. Value? What would you pay for a replica Mk2 Escort RS1800 with forest guards, 5 speed gearbox, 16V engine with 200bhp tuning potential and recent local history / success?
